They took my car in right at my scheduled time. I was informed of where the car was in the process and was communicated to throughout the entire process.

It took almost a month to find an appointment to have a new alternator placed. After picking up our car Friday afternoon after having a new alternator placed in our car, the engine light was on. My husband called and spoke to an employee who stated that engine lights are always checked as part of the service, so that it was unlikely that the engine light was on immediately after leaving. This was frustrating that no responsibility was taken by the dealership that the light in fact was on. The employee did talk my husband through checking the car out for reasons why the light was on, and then multiple warning lights flashed, the car overheated and coolant poured out. While we appreciated the loaner car, this was an major inconvenience (my husband missed most of his sons birthday party dealing this, it was an hour drive to our house to the dealership and back, and we went on a trip and could not bring the dog in the car). After the car was looked at again and the issue was identified (air pocket in coolant), it was frustrating to see on the receipt "confirmed customer complaint found that air pocket had been created due to low coolant previous to repair - coolant was added upon last visit and air pocket was in system prior". This clearly was an issue that occurred during the alternator replacement, and frustrated that the dealership did not take responsibility but that purposely put on the owner of the car. Sometimes just an Ï'm sorry, that was our mistake" goes a long way. We will not come back to this dealership again.
